Information We Collect
When you use ithalab.ai, we may collect personal information that you provide to us, such as your name, email address, and other contact information. We may also collect information about your use of ithalab.ai, including but not limited to, the date and time of your visit, the pages you accessed, and your IP address.
Use of Information
We may use your personal information to provide you with our services, respond to your inquiries, and communicate with you about ithalab.ai and its services. We may also use your personal information to improve ithalab.ai and its services, conduct research and analysis, and comply with our legal obligations.
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, data analysis, and customer support. We may also disclose your personal information to comply with our legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property, or safety of others.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no security measure is perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain certain information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When the data retention period expires for a given type of data, we will delete or anonymize it. Retention of Google user data is described in the sections Google User Data and Retention and deletion of Google user data below.
Data Deletion
You may delete your account from your account settings in the app or dashboard, or request deletion by contacting us at support@ithalab.ai. When you delete your account, your access to the service ends immediately and we stop treating the account as active. We complete deletion of your personal information from our active systems within 30 days of that request, unless we are required to retain it by law. We do not provide a specific time or day for completion within that window. Deletion of Google user data specifically—including how to disconnect AutoTyper and revoke access—is described in Retention and deletion of Google user data below.
Google User Data
Ithalab AI may receive Google user data in two ways. (1) Sign in with Google: we use Google to authenticate you and may receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile image, as allowed by the sign-in permissions you approve. (2) Auto Typer: if you connect Google for this optional feature, we request the OAuth scopes https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email. The drive.file scope allows access only to Google Docs that the application creates or that you explicitly open with the application; for an existing document you select the file in Google's file picker so your grant is recorded—we do not access arbitrary documents using only a pasted link or document ID without that step. When you choose to create a new document, we create a new Google Doc in your Google Drive on your behalf using the Google Docs API. We use the Google Docs API to append your Ithalab content and to read minimal document structure needed to place edits correctly, at a human-like typing pace. We use Google user data only to provide or improve these user-facing features. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We may process Google user data using service providers (for example cloud hosting or infrastructure) solely to operate Ithalab AI, subject to confidentiality and this policy. You may revoke Ithalab AI's access to your Google account at any time under Third-party connections at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions , which stops new access from Google's side immediately. For Autotyper, you can also disconnect Google in the Ithalab dashboard, which removes the OAuth tokens we store for that feature. For broader requests, email support@ithalab.ai; we can remove Google-sourced data from our systems while keeping your Ithalab account where applicable, and may reset or remove Ithalab data that was derived from Google-imported content so we no longer retain Google-sourced information.
Retention and deletion of Google user data
Retention of Google user data: If you use Sign in with Google, we retain Google-provided profile and authentication-related Google user data for as long as you use that sign-in method and your Ithalab account exists, consistent with the Data Retention section above. If you use AutoTyper, we retain Google user data needed to run the feature—including OAuth tokens for https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file (such as refresh tokens), your connected Google email, and AutoTyper session metadata (for example document identifiers for files Autotyper created or you opened via Google's file picker, and typing progress)—until you disconnect Google for Autotyper in the Ithalab dashboard, delete your Ithalab account, or we no longer need the data to provide the service, subject to legal retention requirements. After you disconnect or delete, residual Google user data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before aging out. Deletion of Google user data: You can request deletion of Google user data we hold by emailing support@ithalab.ai from your account email; after we verify your request, we will delete Google user data from our active systems within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it. Disconnecting AutoTyper in the app deletes stored OAuth tokens for that integration; revoking access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions stops our ability to call Google APIs with your prior consent. Active Autotyper sessions may end or show an error if tokens are removed. We do not use Google user data for advertising or for training generalized AI models, as described in Google User Data above.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of ithalab.ai after such modifications shall constitute your acceptance of the modified privacy policy.
